Silmin Ibérica offers a high-purity calcium carbonate derived from chalk, with CaCO₃ >98% and a calcium content of 37% (±5%). It has an ivory-white color (whiteness grade CIE (ISO) W:70 Y 90). It is intended for agricultural use as a natural biostimulant and for fertilization through foliar application.
Silmin Calcio 050 is a highly effective natural mineral product for agricultural applications, improving crop yields and increasing fruit quality. Our calcium carbonate 050 is micronized and is a completely natural product. It enhances plant resistance to stress and diseases, resulting in a higher number of better-quality fruits and more vigorous tree growth, which increases overall crop productivity and improves fruit quality.
Its application is foliar and can be applied using standard spraying equipment. The micronized particles form a rain-resistant layer that protects the crop while reducing surface temperature. It also offers excellent dispersion, strong covering power, and low viscosity even at high solid concentrations.
Silmin Calcio 050 is easy to apply with standard spraying equipment. It strengthens crops by improving resistance to stress and diseases, enhancing both yield and fruit quality. It is suitable for organic farming as it is a natural micronized mineral.
Application and dosage
Add our calcium carbonate S050 to the spraying equipment and mix with water in the recommended proportion, stirring well. Keep the mixture agitated during the spraying process. After heavy rainfall, repeat the application if necessary to reinforce the protective coating.
The proportions used for dissolving our calcium carbonate S050 in agricultural applications can be prepared directly in the atomizer, with a concentration that may vary between 4% and 6% (between 40 and 60 kg/ha) of the water volume, depending on the type of plant to be treated. It can be mixed with other products in the same tank and applied simultaneously, creating a thin and homogeneous layer that covers the trees.
